Minamata City is located in the southern part of Kumamoto Prefecture.
The mountain slopes extend directly from the sea, allowing the area to be bathed in plenty of sunlight.
Yoshiumi's orchard is located in this area, where citrus fruits have long been cultivated.

Until 2015, his mother, Hiroko, grew grapefruit and other citrus fruits, and now his daughter-in-law, Sayuri, is carrying on her mother's legacy and cultivating the fruit.

With the desire to protect the orchard and the relationships with customers that her mother-in-law has built up, she heads to the orchard in between her work in Kagoshima.

Yoshiumi's naturally grown mandarin oranges, pearl citrus oranges, and grapefruit, which have been produced by two generations of father and son over time, are exquisite.
