Unfiltered pressed sesame oil 275g

Our naturally grown sesame oil (roasted and freshly squeezed) from Uganda, which had been extremely popular, has seen a dramatic drop in harvest yields due to bad weather, and we are no longer able to produce sesame oil.
This sesame oil was produced with the cooperation of Yamada Oil Mills in Kyoto using sesame grown mainly in Ethiopia. Tests for residual pesticides have shown no detectable levels.

The general method of squeezing sesame oil is with an expeller, which extracts the oil in a short time, but this product is squeezed out over a long period of time. The squeezed oil is usually filtered through Japanese paper or diatomaceous earth, but in order to preserve the flavor and umami of the sesame, this product is completely unfiltered.

Before use, turn the bottle upside down to loosen any sediment that has settled to the bottom.
