In pursuit of the salt of life, the Amakusa Salt Association produces delicious salt in the beautiful seas of Amakusa. Seawater concentrated by the action of the sun and wind is placed in a crystallization house and slowly crystallized. The crystals are large in size. This natural sea salt, "the whole sea," is made without any processing of the seawater. This salt is made by crystallizing all the minerals in the sea, and has a subtle bitterness and sweetness.
