[Nishi's pesticide- and fertilizer-free onions]

Nishi is currently working hard every day to help with recovery from the damage caused by the heavy rains that hit southern Kyushu in July 2020.

Working with the help of volunteers, they prepared the fields and this year they were able to grow onions without the use of pesticides or fertilizers.

Each onion is packed with dense cells and is heavy, giving you the impression that they have been carefully grown in the field.

Nishi-san is simultaneously working on his reconstruction, farming, and carpentry.

She has a smile on her face every day and continues to work hard for the reconstruction of her hometown, Hitoyoshi.
