*The place of origin may change depending on the growing conditions. Please be aware of this before purchasing.

These brown Enoki mushrooms are produced in Shinonoi, located in the southern part of Nagano City.

Wild Enoki mushrooms strongly inherit the genes of wild Enoki mushrooms that grow naturally in the mountains and fields.

These Enoki mushrooms are grown in special growth rooms equipped specifically for wild species , and have a rich, flavorful taste .
Brown Enoki mushrooms were created in 1985 by crossbreeding wild and cultivated Enoki mushrooms, and have the same slimy texture and flavor as the wild species .
It also contains more dietary fiber than the pure white thick variety , and has a great texture.

Instead of using corncobs (crushed corn kernels), which are the mainstream, for the culture medium, we use sawdust made from thinned timber (cedar) from Nagano Prefecture and nearby prefectures . Furthermore , we use thick Japanese cedar mushrooms to give it a crunchy texture.
It has a slimy texture, making it perfect for miso soup.
