Ready to eat at the dinner table as is - The seasonal limited edition basil paste is back in stock from the Purely Table series, which is one of Purely's original processed products that can be used as is at the dinner table!

This basil paste is made using plenty of basil grown without the use of any fertilizer or pesticides, and the seeds have been collected over a period of 10 years by Shigeko Morita, who practices natural farming in Kikuchi City, Kumamoto Prefecture.
The delicate basil leaves are carefully hand-picked and processed into a paste while still fresh, as they quickly turn color. The garlic used is Hirado garlic, which has been harvested by Kawagoe for nine years and grown naturally, and is added with spices that rival the basil.

Other ingredients are also organic, using organic olive oil, organic cashew nuts, rapeseed oil made using the traditional pressing method of "Sakamoto Oil Mill" in Kumamoto Prefecture, and solar lake salt.
"Basil Paste" was created under the supervision of a chef from Purely Restaurant.
We commercialize this product by adjusting subtle nuances of flavor and making improvements to the manufacturing process.
We intentionally did not add cheese, which allows the flavor of the basil to come through, making it a delicious dish that you will never tire of.
Vegans can also enjoy this dish with peace of mind.

Just pour or mix! Helps you save time when cooking if you're busy.

Use it as a topping for Caprese or meat dishes... It also goes well with pizza, pasta, and baguette dips. It also goes great with seafood such as octopus, squid, and white fish. It's a great time-saving recipe for busy days. Enjoy Italian food at home with the delicate flavor of basil!
Spread plenty of pesto on the baked baguette,
By adding your favorite ingredients, such as vegetables, you can easily make a delicious sandwich.

Introducing our carefully selected ingredients and production areas

Naturally grown basil from Kumamoto Prefecture by Mr. Morita

We used a generous amount of basil from Shigeko Morita, who practices natural cultivation in Kikuchi City, Kumamoto Prefecture. The leaves have grown well and are large, with a beautiful pale green color. Basil is naturally heat-resistant, but even in the blazing heat of over 35°C, the seemingly delicate leaves stretch out towards the sun, giving a sense of toughness.
Morita says that basil requires no care at all, but he works hard in the winter to collect the seeds, and when the time comes to sow the seeds, he starts from making seedlings and carefully nurtures them, which is why we are able to enjoy basil that has grown healthily.
He provided almost all of that basil for our store.

Naturally grown garlic from Kawagoe in Miyazaki Prefecture
The seeds were harvested from Hirado garlic in Nagasaki Prefecture nine years ago, and the garlic has grown strong without the use of any fertilizer or pesticides, with each individual grain being firm and possessing an outstanding fragrance.

Rapeseed Shirashime Oil
The oil is a blend of organic olive oil and rapeseed oil from Sakamoto Oil Mill. Sakamoto Oil Mill, located in Mashiki-cho, Kumamoto Prefecture, uses non-genetically modified rapeseed as the raw material, and employs a traditional pressing method that requires a lot of time and effort without the use of chemicals.
The factory was damaged in the Kumamoto earthquake and the building was demolished. The new factory has been re-installed with the machines that have been used since the company was founded. The company continues to carry on the previous founder's beliefs and manufacturing methods: "It's not that cheap is good, but that we offer good products at low prices" and "We want people with children and those who are particular about food to continue using our products."

Precautions for use: The expiration date is 6 months at room temperature from the date of manufacture. Refrigerate after opening.
■When using, the oil may separate, so be sure to stir well.
