[Purely Original] Carrot Citrus Pickles
[Purely's own homemade pickles are now available for the first time!]
Introducing new pickles that capture the deliciousness of seasonal, naturally grown carrots!
We use a generous amount of juice and pulp from naturally grown sweet springs grown by Michiaki Ikeda in Gyokuto Town, Kumamoto Prefecture to create pickles that are not too sour, but rather fruity and easy to eat.
The vinegar used is pure rice vinegar made by Shobunsu, a 300- year-old brewery in Okawa, Fukuoka Prefecture. It is made from naturally grown rice, left to sit for six months after static fermentation, giving it a rich umami flavor and a mellow overall taste.
It is great as is, as a breakfast or salad, or as a snack to go with wine or other alcoholic beverages.
