Raw minced garlic, whenever you want, as much as you want
In response to customer feedback, we are now selling "Frozen Minced Garlic in a Ziploc Bag" which has been very popular!
It saves you the trouble of chopping and is convenient to use as it keeps your cutting board and hands from getting smelly.
It's easy to store, so it's a great item to keep on hand.
Garlic usually starts to appear as a vegetable around May, but sprouts start appearing around October. Most garlic is treated to inhibit germination and shipped after autumn.
The sales period is short, so have you ever thought, "I want to use it in the winter, but there's no naturally grown garlic!"
This product will solve your worries! You can use naturally grown garlic all year round.
The garlic used is 100% naturally grown garlic from Toshisaku Kawagoe in Tano City, Miyazaki Prefecture, who has been cultivating the soil for 17 years and harvesting the seeds for 7 years. The flavor is concentrated, allowing you to enjoy the taste of high-quality garlic.
Naturally grown garlic, finely chopped
This product is made from fresh garlic harvested this year, chopped into easy-to-use pieces of about 3mm.
Garlic grown naturally without the use of fertilizer grows slowly at a natural rate, so it is densely packed with cells and difficult to peel.
I have tried various methods that are said to make it easier to peel, such as soaking in water, freezing with the skin on, and shaking in a container, but the thin skin that used to stick to the skin sticks to the skin...However, when cooking, I want to be able to use it quickly. This is especially useful for busy people who want to save time by not having to go through the trouble of doing so.
How to eat : After opening, break off the amount you need and use it. We recommend storing it in the freezer even after opening.
It can be used in all kinds of dishes, including pasta, stir-fry, Chinese food, fish, and meat dishes.
Kawagoe-san boasts some of the best soil in Kyushu <br>Tano-cho in Miyazaki Prefecture is famous nationwide as a major radish production area. It is here that you will find Kawagoe Shunsaku, who boasts some of the best soil in Kyushu for natural cultivation.
The topsoil layer (the depth of the soil where crops grow) in Kawagoe's field is more than 1.5m deep. In modern agriculture, it is said that 30cm is sufficient. This is because soil contaminated with fertilizers and pesticides often becomes hard and cold.
Mr. Kawagoe's soil, which has been cultivated for many years using natural farming methods without fertilizer or pesticides, is as soft as snow. This soft, warm, and fluffy soil with good drainage and water retention is what allows the garlic grown here to grow so well.
There are almost no weeds growing in Kawagoe's naturally grown garlic fields.
Kawagoe feels a strong sense of crisis about the state of agriculture in Japan today.
"I think that Tano Town's dried radishes will also disappear in the future. The natural environment is becoming harsher every year. There are typhoons, heavy rains, droughts, and global warming. Farmers who practice conventional cultivation (using chemical fertilizers and pesticides) have seen a significant drop in yields this year. I think it will continue to get tougher every year."
If we continue with modern agriculture, which uses large amounts of chemical fertilizers and pesticides that do not exist in nature, the soil will become polluted, cold, and hardened. This leads to an increase in insects and diseases, which in turn leads to the use of more fertilizers and pesticides, which makes the soil even more polluted, cold, and hard. Kawagoe says that the end result will be "barren land" where nothing can grow.
"If we don't change agriculture now, we will soon reach a time when we really can't produce food. This time may come in a few years, not decades. I want to spread the world of sustainable agriculture by continuing and spreading natural farming."
Mr. Kawagoe talks about the future of agriculture in Japan. He is always thinking about the future of agriculture not only in Miyazaki, but throughout Japan.
