Doremi Village's Hideki Kiba grows large watermelons without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers

We have received a limited quantity of large watermelons from Yamaga City, Kumamoto Prefecture, which are grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
Kumamoto Prefecture boasts the highest watermelon production in Japan, and even in this watermelon powerhouse, this special watermelon is rarely seen.
Mr. Koba's field is located in a powerful spot along the river overlooking Fudoiwa, a group of megaliths believed to have been piled up by ancient people.

Koba-san has made use of the failures he experienced over the past four years and now makes soil using only rice bran from his own organically grown rice. Of course, no pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used.
The flesh is dense, giving it a crunchy and chewy texture.
It has a high sugar content of 11 to 15 degrees sweetness, but also has high water retention, giving it a mild sweetness and distinctive aroma.
This is a wonderful product that you can safely eat with your children.
Since no pesticides are used, you can also eat the peels as pickles after you've finished eating them.

This time we will be selling very rare watermelons in limited quantities.
Please be sure to purchase as soon as possible.

・As quantities are limited, the sale will end without notice once all stock is gone. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
